Have you ever asked yourself and wondered: Does God care when I’m discouraged and feeling down? Does He ever care about my desires and my future?
Lately I’ve been feeling down and so discouraged. I firmly believe that God exists but for some reason I felt my prayers for my ‘heart’s deepest desire’ God doesn’t seem to care at all.
He doesn’t seem to have interest to what I have longed. I know He is there but it seems He is so silent. Does He really care for me at all?
This morning I was flipping the pages of one of my favorite books: “A Pocketful of Promises for Women.” When I’m down this is one of the books that I love to read.
While I was flipping its pages I found one of “God’s Love Letters” that really touches my heart. I have truly found this “love note from God” so comforting. Read it below:
God’s Promises for You and Me…
Here are a few Bible verses with God’s promises for us when we are discouraged or feeling down:
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.
Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
I pray that God will give us His strength. And may we continue to put our trust in Him…
